Happy New Year

2008 is going to be a great year! I am excited about a lot of new things coming up for me this year. I have already done a talk for the Fiber Arts Guild on January 2nd here in Grand Junction, on vintage textiles, and plan another talk in April for the Weaver's Guild in Montrose. Besides those two talks, I have been asked to be a judge for the Black Canyon Quilt Show on July 10th. I am thoroughly enjoying the world of quilting and Antique Quilt restoration work. I have also booked several client projects for 2008 and my hand quilting services are booked through summer 2009.

Here's a picture of the latest modern quilt I made for a christmas gift exchange at the Quilters' Corner in Grand Junction, CO. It is called "Tumbling Blocks." The striped part is the back of the quilt.
